DTM Racing Strategy Game

The highly competitive DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters) was first raced in 1984. Through the years the series evolved with iconic cars racing the series such as the Ford Sierra, BMW M3, Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti, Opel Calibra and Mercedes Benz 190 EVO. In 2005 Opel withdrew from competition leaving the series a two make series Audi verus Mercedes Benz.

DTM has similarities to Aussie V8's, however the modern DTM cars are built from carbon composite materials, to improve safety. ADAC (the governing body of the DTM series) strive to provide parity in the series. Prior to the season commences all cars are tested to ensure parity, aerodynamic devices are not allowed to be changed in any manner through the season. Furthermore to reduce costs 3 engines are allocated to every 2 cars and are sealed prior to the season commencing. Gearboxes and associated running gear are also standardised and are unable to be altered throughout the series. The result is the cars are mechanically extremely reliable and provide completive racing.

DTM is one of the worlds top touring car series and excitement is never far away in the DTM.
