Camping World 300, Daytona International Speedway

Daytona Beach, FloridaThe first race of the season with cars going at least 5 wide into the asphalt, also its the first points race in the series. Drivers will want to make a good start on this traditional Superspeedway, because you will want to be at the start/finish First. 13th February

Stater Bros. 300, Auto Club Speedway

Fontana, CaliforniaOpened in 1997, based off its sister track at Michigan International Speedway. Built by Penske Speedways Inc, and now part of International Speedway Corporation. A two mile, relatively flat oval, which hosts two 300 mile races. 20th Feburary

Sam's Town 300, Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Clark County, NevadaLas Vagas Motor Speedway has it's one Nationwide race early on in the season. The first of the 'cookie cutters', this 1.5 mile racetrack could be the scene of a good race. 27th Feburary

Scotts Turf Builder 300, Bristol Motor Speedway

Bristol, TennesseeThe world's fastest half mile. Those who enjoy short track racing will love to come to this traditional concrete track, for both races of 300 laps. 20th March

O'Reilly 300, Texas Motor Speedway

Fort Worth, TexasThe Nationwide cars come to a Quad-oval, like Atlanta before it, it is one of the fastest tracks on the schedule. Like the date in the fall, this race date came at the expense of another speedway, this time North Carolina Speedway. 4th April

Nashville 300

Nashville, TennesseeNashville, the first race on a Track that the Sprint Cup doesn't race on. The Track Consists of 4 Very sharp turns, and a Tri Oval. This Track is Very Similar to Las Vegas in Turn Wise. With its concrete Surface, One hit to the Wall can really Hurt. 10th April

Bashas' Supermarkets 200, Phoenix International Raceway

Avondale, ArizonaThe next stop on the tour is in Arizona, at a one mile tri-oval. It has an unusual shape, the dogleg being in the back straight, but, nevertheless, is popular with the drivers. It is also known as where the backwards ‘Polish’ victory lap was invented. 16th April

Aaron's 312, Talladega Superspeedway

Talladega, AlabamaDega is the longest and highest banked speedway on the schedule. Restrictor plates have to be used, making the chances of an accident involving lots of the field, known as the big one, very high. 24th April

Lipton Tea 250, Richmond International Raceway

Richmond, VirginiaRichmond describes itself as ‘America’s Premier Short Track’, as it holds races for many different types of motorsports. All of these races are held under the lights, unique to Richmond. 30th April

Diamond Hill Plywood 200, Darlington Raceway

Darlington, South CarolinaDarlington has long been considered one of the four crown jewels of NASCAR. However, recent changes by ISC have left the track with only 1 500 mile race. 'The track too tough to tame' is still, however, a popular and difficult track for the drivers. 7th May

Carquest Auto Parts 300, Charlotte Motor Speedway

Concord, North CarolinaLowe’s Motor Speedway hosts the longest race in the series, the Carquest Auto Parts 300, on Memorial Day weekend, the same day as the Indianapolis 500. The track is a fast 1.5 mile quad oval, but in some ways drives like a short track, so provides plenty 22nd May

Heluva Good! 200, Dover International Speedway

Dover, DelawareDover is a unique track, exactly a mile long, and surfaced with concrete. It is also uniquely owned by Dover Motorsports Inc. The track is known for its toughness on cars and tires, hence the nickname of ‘The Monster Mile’. 29th May
