Pre Academy Part 1: Mini Challenge Racing Strategy GameThe Mini Challenge is made up of six races around the world. They are usually short sprint races, and give plenty of excitement.
The series is used to teach rookies to the game how to play it, so that they can go on to enjoy the game. This is done in two ways. There are instructions for the rookies to read and follow, and the rookies teammates are instructors, who are pro players. They can help their rookies with the game and any questions they have. The instructors do not race directly agaisnt the rookies, rather they are in a separate class. However, if a rookie qualifys higher than a pro player, he starts ahead of him. This allows the rookies to race agaisnt the pro players, and see how well they're doing.
Unlike most other carsets, grid order in five of the races is decided by practice results. The other carsets have a qualifying session, as seen during the Brands Hatch round.
The first two races are both sprint races, with no pitstops. The next three have pitstops for tyre changes, but not for fuel. Only one pitstop can be made in these races. The final race, at Brands Hatch, features pitstops for fuel as well as tyres, and the player can choose between one and two stops.
The first five races have this system:
Fastest Lap 1
Most Laps Lead 1
Brands Hacth has double points for positions, but still only one for most laps lead and fastest lap. It also has a point for pole position, unlike the other races.
