2014 - BATracer Rally released (Next-Gen offshoot, BATracer 6).

2013 - BATracer Next-Gen (BATracer 5) crowd funded project started.

2012 - Final development cycle of BATracer 4 (now BATracer Classic).

2011 - BATracer Constructors add-on released.

2010 - Game now numbers 20 carsets and 150,000 players.

2009 - Game relaunched in new intellectual property friendly format.

2008 - With 100,000 players now spread across 12 different race series, a carset builder is released to the community.

2007 - BATracer enters 2007 with over 40,000 players.

2006 - BATracer released to public as free-to-play webgame.

2005 - Development of BATracer v3 restarted, this time as a conversion on the existing platform and now numbered v4.

2004 - Attempt to restart development with a rewrite (BARracer v3) for another platform abandoned after it emerges the current code is now too complicated for this to be an easy task.

2003 - Game made available online, now known as BATracer v2. Over 1,000,000 hits in first week and several thousand users, but game dropped after web serving system proves unstable.

2002 - Game ported over to a separate platform for testing of a new web serving system. 90% new code.

2001 - Game in playable state, and to be named Jordan GP after an agreement with the Jordan GP team. But Freeloader.com axed before game made public.

2000 - Initial concept developed for Pure Entertainment in London, UK on their Freeloader.com website.

Internet Explorer		Designed in Internet Explorer, because it is still the most common browser.
Firefox		Works in Firefox!
Opera		Works in Opera, but if you have an older version you may need to change your slider bar settings to "Flash" via Edit-Account. Sadly, these sliders are inferior, slower and more clunky than the normal ones. The latest version of Opera should be fine.
Safari		Works in Safari!
Google Chrome		Works in Chrome (same render engine as Safari)!
