BATracer Gameplay Guidelines - Rules for the Honest Player

...if you are a FREE USER:

• Multi-Account: Having more than one account is considered "Multi-Accounting", and it is prohibited by the game rules for free users. If you want you have more game slots and play more games, I suggest you start saving your money to purchase Kool Tools for your account - increasing your number of game slots to 4 for each type of game (Public, Private and Mid Season), and it's relatively cheaper than most 'VIP' services offered in other games. Multi-accounters, when found, usually receive a Black Flag in their main account's profile and have all the extra accounts locked. Large-scale multi-accounters are often given a temporary banishment from the site as well.
  
• Account-Sit: "Account-sitter" is the player that logs in another player's account and plays his/her games for a period of time - usually, while the other player is away in a trip, holidays or any unscheduled event that forbids him/her from loging in BATracer. Free users that are found account-sitting suffer the same penailties as those who are guilty of multi-accounting - and also risk getting a Black Flag and/or temporary ban for the player whose account was being sat by the free user.

...if you are a user:

• Multi-Account in Same Game: If you have more than one account, and paid for Kool Tools for each one of them, you are allowed to use these accounts as you wish. But there is one rule that many players ignore: you can only have one account in each game at a time. This means you cannot join the same public game with two or more of your accounts - even if you mid season join a game you're playing already. ATTENTION! This rule isn't valid in just two cases: a) in Private Games you are allowed to join with more than one account - but should always check if your private game owner and the other drivers are okay with that; b) in Class-Divided Games (BTCC, LMES, MR2, et cetera) you can have more than just one account playing if, and only if, you join a different class for each one of your accounts (Road/Race, LMP1/LMP2, etc).
  
• Join the Same Team: If multi-accounting in the same game is against the rules, let alone multi-accounting in the same team! Still, some players ignore this ruleand parter themselves in public games. So, just in case, this is a reminder that you cannot join the same team OR game with two or more accounts!
  
• Account-Sit for Free Users: Account-sitting is a priviledge that only Kool Tool users enjoy. Still, even if you have paid for KT, you are not allowed to account sit for a free user. By doing so, you risk getting caught operating an 'extra' - non-KT - account and will possibly receive a Black Flag and a temporary banishment.

...if you are an honest player:

• Use Silly Names: Silly names can be classed in two different types: plain stupid names that make no sense and real-life celebrities' names. Both types of silly names spoil the fun for the rest of the community and are not allowed. If you don't want to use your real name, you are free to choose an alternative fake name for your games - but keep it reasonable.
  
• Behave Offensively: Constructive discussions are healthy and good for the game's development. But be careful: do not use swear words towards your opponents and teammates in the Race Comments, Driver Chat, Team Talk, the game Forum, Clan Chat or the personal profile pages of other player. This type of uncalled for attitude is unwated in the game and in punished in comments removal, black flag in even banishments!
